The Loyalists: Loyalists were American colonists who remained loyal to the British Empire and the British monarchy during the American revolutionary war. They were aproximatley as loyal people, who supported the rvelution. When they were defeated, about 15% of the Loyalists went to different parts of the british area in Britain, or in British North America.
The Micmac People: (Introduction)
The Micmac are a first nations people, growing to canada's Maritime provinces and the Gaspé Peninsula of Quebec. They call this region the mikmaki. Other people at this time, live in Newfoundland and the northeastern region of main. This nation has a population of about 40 000 of which almost 11 000 can speak micmac language. Once written in micmac writing, is now written using letters of the average latin letters.
The Micmac's Food:
The Micmac, during the summer, spent most of their time on the shores harvesting seafood; during the winter, they would move to iner areas in the woods to hunt. The most important animal the micmac hunted, was the moose, which was used in every part: for example, the meat was for food, the skin was for clothing, bones for carving and tools. Other animals hunted my micmac: deer, caribou, bear, rabbit, beaver, porcupine and other bid and small animals.

Micmac clothing was made from the hides of animals that they hunted. Deer and moose hides were used for leggings, sleeves and moccasins. In the winter, the Micmac wore fur robes. Clothes were often decorated with colourful, which were painted, porcupine quills.
